About the Role
As a Patient Access Specialist in Oklahoma City, you will serve as a vital liaison between INTEGRIS Health, patients, providers, and payers. In this role, you will work with our Patient Registration Team from Friday to Sunday, 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM, to facilitate efficient operations and ensure optimal customer satisfaction.
You will be responsible for managing patient access activities for ancillary, diagnostic, surgical, and emergency services. Your day will involve acting as the first point of contact for pre-care matters, providing clear information regarding coverage eligibility, benefits, financial liability, and billing policies. You will assist patients in understanding complex coverage terminology and work to resolve inquiries regarding pre-care services, policies, and financial obligations. By utilizing analytical thinking and clinical knowledge, you will help adjust service area schedules and accommodate special requests, ensuring a smooth experience for both internal and external customers.
