The Marketing and Communications department serves as the voice of the university, connecting students, staff, and faculty through compelling digital storytelling and strategic event promotion. As a Federal Work Study student, you will join a dynamic team dedicated to enhancing the university's online presence and fostering community engagement.
As a Digital Platforms Assistant, you will be the bridge between content creation and digital distribution. This role exists to ensure that the university's narratives are accurately captured, professionally presented, and effectively shared across web and social channels. You will work closely with a diverse group of stakeholders, including students, staff, and faculty, to gather marketing content and coordinate project status.
Your day-to-day involves conducting interviews to craft written stories, building articles within the university's content management system, and creating digital signage. You will also collaborate with other departments to develop and distribute university newsletters and oversee event marketing communications projects. This position requires a high degree of organization and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, often completing special projects with minimal supervision.
