About the Opportunity
A well-established and innovative structural steel fabrication company is seeking a dedicated Sales/Business Development Professional to drive new business growth across North America. This role is designed for a self-motivated individual who thrives with minimal management and is eager to leverage a competitive advantage to expand market share.
The company offers a single-point responsibility model for the entire Division 5 scope of projects, encompassing the fabrication and erection of structural steel, joists, deck, and miscellaneous metals. The ideal candidate will join a supportive, growth-oriented environment where they can utilize their established network to generate diverse sales opportunities.
The Role
As an outside sales professional, you will be responsible for scouting opportunities and confidently presenting to new clients to develop robust sales pipelines. Success in this position requires staying attuned to current market trends, including material prices, lead-times, and industry standards, while developing innovative, non-traditional means to increase profitability.
This is a dynamic role requiring travel to client sites. The position offers a competitive compensation package with a base salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 (negotiable based on experience) and an opportunity for an additional bonus/incentive structure.
