Key Responsibilities
- check_circlePerform project engineering to plan, design, construct, and sustain facilities and infrastructure
- check_circleConduct structural design and analysis for steel buildings, concrete structures, and foundation systems
- check_circleSupervise preparation and validation of structural and architectural drawings
- check_circleOversee mapping and surveying functions including layout of facilities and maintenance of site records
- check_circleProvide technical oversight during construction including shop drawing review and approval
- check_circleConduct inspections of existing facilities to determine structural integrity and safety
- check_circleProvide recommendations on construction materials, methods, and create engineering estimates and specifications
- check_circleDetermine root cause of structural failures and recommend corrective actions
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
- verified7 years technical experience (5 years with MS) in industrial design and construction
- verifiedWorking knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit
- verifiedProficiency in STAAD/RAM structural Systems, RAM Elements, or RISA 3D
- verifiedWorking knowledge of IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC codes
- verifiedAbility to obtain Secret (or higher) security clearance
- verifiedProfessional Engineer License (Preferred)
- verifiedActive Secret clearance (Preferred)
- verifiedProject Management Professional (PMP) certification (Preferred)
Nice to Have
Professional Engineer License. Skilled in principles of project management. Experience in the design and construction of chemical facilities that involve the use of acids and solvents in the production of energetic materials. Experience in the assessment of existing concrete and rehabilitation and repair. Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret. Facility Management, Construction Management, or Construction Experience. Familiarity with Agile Mindset and continuous process improvement. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
