About the Role
As a Structural Designer, you will be a key member of our team in Pataskala, Ohio, working on-site to support our construction partners. Your primary mission is to ensure designs are accurate, optimized, and conform to all necessary standards. You will bridge the gap between architectural intent and structural reality by reading and interpreting blueprints, calculating tributary and concentrated loads, and understanding load transfer through buildings.
In this role, you will generate engineered wood products placement layouts for final construction and create accurate material take-offs for estimating purposes. You will also be responsible for requesting sealed engineering drawings and repair details when necessary, following up to ensure completeness. Beyond the design floor, you will provide job-site support alongside the sales department when requested, ensuring our solutions work seamlessly in the field.
