The Strategist, Learner Success is dedicated to supporting learners through their program progression by providing strategic guidance on overcoming barriers to completion. This role focuses on addressing life challenges that may hinder successful engagement with coursework, fostering a culture of trust and connectedness across the College community. The primary goals are to promote well-being and ensure learner retention, completion, and satisfaction.
As a key liaison, you will connect learners with the academic and non-academic supports they need to thrive both inside and outside the classroom. Using a strategic and consultative coaching approach, you will ask high-impact questions to identify root causes of performance challenges, co-create solutions, and implement custom success plans. These plans are designed to help learners achieve their short-term and long-term academic, personal, and professional goals.
You will manage a caseload of 350-375 learners, monitoring at-risk reports to provide timely support to those falling beneath prescribed benchmarks. Your work involves engaging with all assigned learners each semester to coach them on goal setting, academic success skills, and resource utilization. Additionally, you will participate in the Learner Success Series to drive program engagement and collaborate with local communities and organizations to develop a robust pool of resources that align various services for learners.
