The Strategic Account Manager serves as the principal representative of RRD, acting as the trusted business partner for clients. This role is designed to understand and effectively represent the company's products, services, and solutions through a consultative process. The position requires a deep understanding of industry trends and the ability to develop strategic plans with foresight to maximize sales and revenue from both existing and new clients.
In this capacity, you will maintain and grow customer accounts by building meaningful, value-add relationships with senior-level decision-makers. You will serve as the primary point of contact for problem-solving, ensuring the tactical and flawless implementation of programs. The role involves engaging with clients to lead with integrated product solutions that align with their end goals, utilizing data, research, and insights to identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities.
A significant portion of the day involves researching, tailoring, and teaching commercial insights to clients. You will obtain a clear understanding of their marketing and advertising requirements, create demand for RRD's full suite of products, and negotiate contracts while engaging internal resources as needed. You will also be responsible for exceeding revenue goals by creating compelling stories and visions that challenge and evolve the customer's marketing strategy, proposing omni-channel solutions that fulfill their objectives.
Candidates selected for this role will be expected to provide accurate and timely reports and forecasting as required by the company. The position involves acquiring and closing accounts of varying complexity levels by engaging internal sales product experts and support teams to deliver comprehensive omni-channel solutions.
