We are seeking an independent, task-oriented Security Specialist to join our team in East Syracuse, NY. In this role, you will play a vital part in creating a positive shopping and working environment by prioritizing safety and fostering strong relationships throughout the store. You will act as a liaison between the Asset Protection team and store leadership, communicating effectively to resolve issues while keeping customer service at the forefront of your actions.
Your day will involve analyzing trends and data to implement strategies that maximize sales and minimize loss. You will monitor store activity to prevent theft, coordinate CCTV systems, and respond to emergency situations with sound judgment. Beyond enforcement, you will foster collaborative relationships with community partners and emergency responders, providing ongoing support and guidance to both employees and customers. Bachelor's degree in criminal justice or related field. Related experience in security and/or loss prevention. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) or First Responder background. Leadership experience, preferably in a retail setting.
