About the Role

As a Store Manager, you will lead Mattress Firm's vision and company initiatives while achieving sales performance goals across multiple store units. You will hold associates accountable for the execution of in-store merchandising and drive related KPI results. This role ensures teams always put the customer at the center, creating a compelling and engaging environment for the team. As an effective coach, you will develop associates' skills and performance, fostering a collaborative and motivated team dedicated to achieving success.

Day in the Life

Your day involves conducting one-on-one meetings to understand your team's motivations and personal aspirations, developing a comprehensive team "bio book" that evolves with new insights. You will manage workforce activities, including staffing schedules and reconciling punches, while ensuring company policies and state regulations are followed. You will analyze reporting to determine appropriate staffing levels and partner with leadership to make necessary changes. Additionally, you will serve as a subject matter expert, providing technical and product knowledge to associates and customers, and analyzing reporting to identify skill gaps for coaching.
