About the Role

As a Store Manager, you will lead Mattress Firm's vision and company initiatives while achieving sales performance goals across multiple store units. You will ensure teams always put the customer at the center and create a compelling, engaging environment for team members. As an effective coach, you will develop associates' skills and performance, fostering a collaborative and motivated team dedicated to achieving success.

Your day will involve conducting one-on-one meetings to understand your team's motivations and personal aspirations, developing a comprehensive team "bio book" that evolves with your team, and holding 30-60-90-day check-ins with new members. You will analyze reporting to determine appropriate staffing levels, partner with marketing to plan social media strategies, and manage stock inventory levels to ensure accurate merchandise flow.
