About the Role

We have an immediate opportunity to join our growing company as a full-time Surgical Consultant in the San Jose, California territory. This role is designed for a self-motivated individual with an entrepreneurial spirit who thrives in an expanding market. The Surgical Consultant serves as a vital bridge between our manufacturer partners and the surgical teams they support, requiring a deep understanding of orthopedic surgery, human musculo-skeletal anatomy, and common repair techniques.

You will be integrally involved in assisting the territory and associated surgical teams on a day-to-day basis to achieve sales objectives. While you will receive training from both manufacturers and Pacific Medical, you must also be a self-starter capable of independent research and learning to stay versed in all surgical techniques and procedures. This position is both a sales and service role, supporting the needs of the territory alongside Distributor Consultants and Surgical Sales Consultants.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include covering surgical cases as directed, transporting equipment to facilities, and delivering surgical techniques and videos to hospitals, surgery centers, and physician offices. You will also manage purchase orders within our systems, support team meetings, and act as a collaborative teammate. Success in this role requires the ability to manage varying tasks, solve customer complaints, and analyze market potential to prioritize call patterns effectively.

We are looking for individuals who can manage scheduled tasks and work without daily interaction or guidance from management. The selection process focuses on identifying those with the ability to produce results in a commission-based environment.

Compensation & Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 to $144,000, based on commission which is paid according to experience and territory sales volume. All full-time positions include comprehensive benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, ER paid Life for the employee, Voluntary benefits, Medical FSA, Dependent FSA, HSA, 401k (for employees 21 years or older), and Goal Path Financial Wellness planning.
