About the Role
The Store Manager serves as the operational heartbeat of the store, responsible for driving profitability while fostering a culture of World Class customer service. This role exists to ensure the store remains an inviting, shoppable environment where customers find the products they need and staff feel empowered to deliver exemplary care. The Store Manager acts as a leader who treats people decently while motivating the team toward high performance, balancing the needs of the business with the well-being of the crew.
In this position, you will spend at least 75% of your time on the sales floor, directly assisting customers, directing staff, and attending to all departments. The day-to-day rhythm involves managing the store as a whole, from ensuring fresh produce is rotated and stocked to handling special orders and resolving customer complaints. You will partner with department managers to cross-train staff, ensuring everyone is prepared to assist customers in any area. Beyond operations, the role involves cultivating a diverse and inclusive ecosystem where the crew thrives, with a strong emphasis on nutritional knowledge and product expertise.
