About the Role

The Store Manager is the driving force behind the sales, profitability, appearance, and overall operations of the store. This position exists to ensure consistent sales growth while maintaining the proper O'Reilly image. You will operate the store as a profit center, ensuring it runs as economically and efficiently as possible by directing team members to provide prompt, courteous, and professional service.

In this role, you will represent the company by soliciting orders and selling products in accordance with company policies. You will work to maintain the customer base, increase sales volume at assigned accounts, and review customer needs to gain market share. A key part of your day involves coordinating sales call efforts with the Territory Sales Manager and establishing pricing levels for professional customers alongside the Sales and Pricing Departments.

You will also be responsible for the full lifecycle of store team members, working jointly with the District Manager to recruit, train, evaluate, and promote staff. Your leadership ensures that all team members continually improve their skills through company training on policies, customer service, and safety. Additionally, you will oversee store organization, implement merchandising plans, handle daily accounting functions, and monitor loss prevention procedures to protect company assets.
