We are engineers at heart, putting ambitious ideas to work to generate real solutions for real people. From the R&D lab to the factory floor, every one of us experiments, creates, builds, improves, and solves.

About the Role

In Cardiac Surgery, we are committed to advancing and delivering optimal cardiac surgical care. As a Clinical Specialist in the ECT/ECLS product line, you will serve as the field expert for these products and associated procedures. This hybrid role blends sales accountability with deep clinical knowledge, positioning you as a catalyst for growth and transformation within the business.

You will be the bridge between complex medical technology and the healthcare providers who rely on it. Your day will involve developing and delivering live and virtual training programs on Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) products to hospitals and medical facilities. You will collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to ensure training materials align with product messaging and sales objectives, while conducting product demonstrations on the safe and effective use of ECT/ECMO products.

Beyond training, you will provide guidance on the selection, setup, and management of life support devices, including proficiency in Cardiac Fluoroscopic imaging for proper cannula placement. You will also support blood management initiatives, training hospital personnel on autotransfusion and anticoagulation management devices in perioperative settings. By working with key opinion leaders and participating in industry events, you will stay at the forefront of ECMO therapy trends and contribute to the development of new devices.

Hiring Process & Application

We anticipate the application window for this opening will close on May 23, 2026. To be considered, please ensure your resume clearly evidences the required basic qualifications, including relevant education and experience in medical sales or clinical ECMO roles.

In addition, Medtronic will provide reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities.

We value your unique background and perspective. For roles in unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County, we consider qualified job applicants with arrest or conviction records in accordance with the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance and the California Fair Chance Act.
