The Opportunity
As a Store Cashier, you will be the face of our organization, providing excellent customer service while operating a cash register. You will play a vital role in the daily operations of our store, ensuring that every customer and donor feels welcomed and supported. This role is essential to maintaining the smooth flow of transactions and creating a positive shopping experience that reflects our mission.
A Day in the Life
In this role, you will greet each customer with a courteous, friendly, and professional attitude, directing them to the proper areas and providing general information as requested. You will be responsible for ringing up all sales transactions accurately, ensuring customers receive the proper change and correct receipts. Your day will also involve following all policies concerning cash, checks, charge cards, and the Change Round Up program, while keeping the register area clean and orderly. Additionally, you will answer telephone calls promptly using established etiquette and assist sales floor employees with stocking and recovery tasks.
