The STAGES School Psychologist provides essential psychological services to students across multiple schools, operating as an Independent Consultant (1099). This role is designed for professionals who thrive in a flexible, remote environment while maintaining high standards of care. You will serve students across multiple states, obtaining necessary licensures to support diverse educational needs.
Your day involves a blend of clinical assessment, data-driven decision-making, and collaborative support. You will administer academic and psychological assessments to determine student eligibility and identify current needs, leading eligibility meetings and contributing to the Student Support Team (SST) and Response to Intervention (RTI) processes. Beyond evaluations, you will provide rich, engaging therapy experiences and maintain detailed records to ensure compliance with state and district regulations.
A core part of this position is building strong relationships. You will establish and maintain positive rapport with families, learning coaches, and students, ensuring timely communication and personalized learning support. You will also participate in workshops and seminars to stay current on legislative changes impacting special education eligibility.
