About the Role
The Engineering & Sciences organization supporting the Advanced Navigation business area at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is seeking a Software Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead based out of Woodland Hills, CA. This role is pivotal in the development of software for the latest M-code capable embedded GPS/Inertial Navigation System (EGI-M).
As the Software IPT Lead, you will serve as the Control Account Manager (CAM) for the software work scope, responsible for planning, budgeting, executing, and reporting progress for a team of software, systems, and test engineers. Your primary goal is to ensure the integrity of engineering processes and the timely development of software work products required for airworthiness certification. You will interface directly with the Program Manager, Chief Engineer, System Architect, other engineering team leads, and the customer to align measurement objectives and ensure the executability of the program technical baseline.
This position requires an active DoD Secret Clearance and involves approximately 10% travel to customer sites, suppliers, and other Northrop Grumman locations.
