About the Role
As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, you will immerse yourself in Strategic Nuclear Deterrence, bringing your expertise to the forefront of innovation. In this role, you will help shape the future of aerospace technology by crafting the backbone of mission-critical systems within a Special Access Program (SAP) and safeguarding the lives of those who protect us.
You do not need previous communications or nuclear experience; we provide the training and tools to help you grow into a subject matter expert. You will learn from the best and brightest in the comms and nuclear deterrence domain, working on systems vital to national defense. This is an onsite position located in Richardson, Texas, where you will collaborate with Senior and Principal level Software Engineers, mentoring junior engineers and interns while solving technical challenges.

Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in STEM and 5 years experience or Advanced Degree and 3 years experience
- verifiedActive and transferable U.S. government issued SECRET security clearance
- verifiedExperience in Agile development methods including Scrum, automated testing, and continuous integration
- verifiedExperience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
Nice to Have
Experience supporting aerospace, defense, or nuclear command-and-control systems governed by standards such as DO-178C, MIL-STD-498, or equivalent. Experience in Agile development methods, including Scrum, automated testing, and continuous integration. Exposure to Earned Value Management (EVM) principles.
