About the Role
As the leader of the health care team, this Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process in accordance with established standards of care, policies, and procedures. The role is designed to demonstrate performance consistent with the Medical Center's Vision, Mission, and Strategic Plan.
In this position, you will remain flexible to changing systems while ensuring quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinical practice. A core expectation is to treat co-workers, patients, families, and all members of the health care team with dignity and respect. You will serve as a leader who delegates tasks appropriately, mentors new employees and students, and champions new ideas to drive the change process.
Your day-to-day impact involves developing individualized plans of care that reflect multidisciplinary planning, cultural needs, and appropriate acuity. You will monitor patient progress, revise care plans based on ongoing evaluations, and ensure effective discharge planning that empowers patients and families. Beyond clinical duties, you will foster a collaborative environment by participating in performance improvement activities, resolving conflicts constructively, and supporting a Labor-Management Partnership through unit-based teams.
