Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProvide direct patient care and support during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- check_circleRespond promptly to urgent calls, patient visits, and symptom management needs
- check_circleEvaluate patient and family needs to guide clinical decisions and implement the plan of care
- check_circleServe as the primary liaison between patients, families, physicians, and the hospice team
- check_circleAccurately document clinical visits and communications
- check_circleParticipate in quality assessment and performance improvement programs
- check_circleWork independently while ensuring continuity of care with the daytime team
- check_circleCollaborate with an interdisciplinary group including LPNs, LVNs, and CNAs
Requirements
- verifiedCurrent RN license in North Carolina
- verified1+ years of nursing experience
- verifiedValid driver's license

- verifiedCurrent CPR certification
Nice to Have
1+ years of hospice, home health, oncology, or palliative care experience. Familiarity with symptom management, triage, and after-hours home-based care. Prior experience in on-call or overnight nursing roles. Strong documentation and electronic medical records (EMR) skills.
