Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProvide strategic leadership and operational oversight for the assigned hospice location
- check_circleManage and direct interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient-centered care
- check_circleEnsure accurate and timely documentation of patient care and service delivery
- check_circleConduct community outreach and build relationships with referral partners and the governing body
- check_circleMonitor compliance with accrediting agencies, regulatory standards, and state or federal laws
- check_circleOversee office operations, resource planning, and contract management for outside vendors
- check_circleInvestigate incidents, accidents, and grievances to implement corrective and preventive actions
- check_circleManage human resources including selection, supervision, evaluation, and training of staff
- check_circleDevelop, recommend, and implement policies and procedures in collaboration with the Governing Body
- check_circleManage financial resources by preparing budgets, monitoring expenses, and controlling costs
Requirements
- verifiedRegistered Nurse with minimum of Associate's Degree in Nursing required
- verifiedBachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred
- verifiedMinimum one year management/supervisory experience required
- verifiedTwo or more years' experience in hospice/home care required
- verifiedCurrent license to practice nursing in the state of requested employment
- verifiedCPR Certification
- verifiedValid driver's license
- verifiedCurrent automobile insurance
Nice to Have
Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing. Three to five years' healthcare sales/management experience. Three years' experience in direct patient care in a clinical setting.
