About the Opportunity
Join the Spinal Cord Injury/Disorder Service (SCI/D) team at the Audie L. Murphy VA Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. You will provide world-class care to Veterans living with spinal cord injuries and disorders within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment focused on rehabilitation and neuro medicine.
This role is part of a mission-driven team serving America's Veterans. You will work alongside a dedicated group of 4 physicians, nursing staff, social workers, pharmacists, and therapists to support approximately 600 Veterans on the SCI/D registry. The position offers an academic affiliation opportunity with UT Health San Antonio.
Work Environment
The setting is primarily outpatient with occasional inpatient consults. The schedule is designed for work-life balance, running Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. There are no routine nights or weekends, with the exception of rotational call duties for inpatient rehabilitation coverage.
