Professional Service Industries, Inc. (Intertek-PSI) is a leading US-based provider of construction assurance, testing, and inspection in civil and commercial construction. We are actively seeking a Geotechnical Staff Engineer to join our team at our Columbus, OH office. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to grow a versatile career in the architectural, engineering, and construction (A/E/C) industry.
In this position, you will be part of a global network of state-of-the-art facilities and passionate people. You will work to exceed customer expectations while engaging in your own professional growth. The role involves performing a variety of geotechnical assignments, including field logging and soil laboratory work, as well as writing geotechnical reports and reviewing project plans. You will attend client site meetings and communicate effectively with client and project teams, often working on multiple projects simultaneously.
You may perform on-site observations, sample collection, and specific tests, working both in the field and laboratory regularly. This role requires adherence to safety practices to ensure your own safety and that of others. You will work in diverse conditions, including outdoors in adverse weather, and may need to travel up to 10% of the time.

Requirements
