About the Role
The Accounting Analyst is a mid-level position designed to support the full cycle accounting process and month-end closing functions for Signal Energy's related companies. This role serves as a critical link in ensuring financial accuracy and compliance, handling tasks ranging from journal entries and GL account reconciliations to intercompany cost reconciliations and banking activities.
In this position, you will prepare monthly consolidated financial statements, analyze financial performance, and ensure revenue recognition policies remain compliant with ASC 606. You will also play a key role in facilitating internal and external audits, preparing necessary schedules for annual CPA audits, state tax audits, and internal sales and use tax reviews. Beyond technical execution, the role involves troubleshooting accounting and ERP system issues with operations and project teams, while actively collaborating to improve overall accounting processes and procedures.
