As a Sr Warehouse Teammate, you will act as a lead on the team, assigning tasks and providing guidance to other teammates on warehouse procedures. You will play a key role in training less experienced or new teammates, demonstrating how to meet and exceed our standards. This role involves handling escalated or complex issues that arise and ensuring all shipping discrepancies are managed per procedures.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include counting, verifying, and receiving incoming vendor shipments and customer return material. You will be responsible for stocking and maintaining the warehouse, as well as picking, documenting, and packing customer orders in accordance with company policy. You will also identify nonstock, special-order, and damaged materials, storing them in proper locations, and completing necessary documentation for third-party carrier shipments.
Safety is paramount in this role. You will load and unload trucks, operate warehouse forklifts and other material handling equipment safely, and maintain a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse environment. You will also inform your immediate supervisor of stock depletions, count discrepancies, or damaged merchandise that could impact customer service levels, ensuring security and controls are upheld at all times.
