As a Sr. UC Engineer III, you will serve as a technical authority for voice, video, and collaboration platforms within a fast-paced, mission-critical operational environment. This role is designed for a subject matter expert who can contribute immediately to supporting a highly visible, security-sensitive customer. You will be part of a collaborative, high-performing team delivering technical solutions for the highest levels of the federal government.
In this position, you will act as a proactive problem solver and a trusted advisor to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Your day-to-day involves designing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex enterprise Unified Communications platforms, including Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Webex, and Microsoft Teams. You will ensure high-quality real-time voice and video traffic by configuring Session Border Controllers (SBCs), voice gateways, dial plans, and Quality of Service (QoS) protocols.
Beyond technical execution, you will participate in Agile execution, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and establish a high level of customer trust through your professionalism and expertise. This role requires a strong sense of ownership and the ability to support mission operations with urgency. Please note that this position is designated as essential personnel supporting continuity of operations and may require work during government shutdowns, emergencies, or other critical situations.
