About the Role
This combined leadership position serves as the strategic anchor for the Kittyhawk ERP instance and its associated bolt-on applications. The role exists to ensure the highest standards of availability, performance, and security across the entire database and platform ecosystem. By leveraging sophisticated automation, integrated monitoring, and advanced metric analytics, the incumbent will drive a culture of continuous improvement, minimizing incident rates while maintaining a robust cyber posture.
The day-to-day rhythm involves orchestrating complex technical initiatives that align with broader business goals and enterprise architecture. You will lead the team through critical application support lifecycles, including P1 incident resolution, patching activities, and production releases, often coordinating across US hours and weekend shifts to ensure business continuity. Beyond technical execution, the role focuses on strategic vision, defining the roadmap for database scalability and resilience while fostering professional growth within the team.

You will partner closely with the Whittle DBA leader to synchronize solutions and collaborate with IT leadership, application teams, and business stakeholders.
