This combined leadership position serves as the strategic owner for the Kittyhawk ERP instance and its associated bolt-on applications. The role is dedicated to ensuring high availability, optimal performance, and a compliant cyber posture across the assigned database platforms. By leveraging sophisticated automation, integrated monitoring, and metric analytics, the incumbent will drive low incident rates and operational excellence.
You will act as the bridge between technology initiatives and business goals, aligning the database and platform vision with enterprise architecture standards. This role requires a leader who can coach teams, manage vendor relationships, and oversee the planning and delivery of Oracle and ERP initiatives with a focus on security, quality, and performance.
Your day will involve leading technical upgrades, managing complex P1 incidents, and coordinating critical patching and change management activities, often requiring flexibility for weekend support. You will monitor team KPIs, manage the escalation process, and ensure synchronization with the Whittle DBA leader. A significant portion of your time will be spent engaging with IT leadership and business stakeholders to provide transparency on risks and service improvements while driving the vitality roadmap for the Kittyhawk ecosystem.
