Within the Sensors, Effectors & Mission Systems (SEMS) organization, we collaborate with the best Radar engineers across our Moorestown, NJ, and Syracuse, NY sites to invent solutions where they don't yet exist.

Our Radar Systems Engineering team brings together engineers and Sensor Architects from diverse backgrounds and experience levels. We work together to deliver quality designs and cutting-edge capabilities to a broad array of customers, including the Missile Defense Agency, US Navy, Air Force, US Army, Space Force, and international partners such as Japan, Canada, Spain, Norway, Australia, and the UK.

About the Role

As a Sensor Systems Architect, you will join a team of the brightest minds in the world to support the architecture, design, Concept of Operations, requirements development, analysis, and implementation of high-performance Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar systems. This role is designed for those seeking the challenge of a lifetime, where hard work is the fun part and lifelong learning is the norm.

In this dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment, you will drive radar capability implementation by performing concept of operations design, defining radar behavior, and developing associated requirements. You will collaborate with subsystem teams to define clear, executable, and testable approaches for meeting mission success criteria, while conducting trade studies to analyze system-level performance impacts. Your work will involve developing detailed design documentation and representing the organization on contracts, interfacing with internal and external customers, program leadership, and senior management on significant technical matters.

Hiring Process & Requirements

This position requires a US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret level security clearance. Candidates must be prepared to navigate a process that includes technical evaluations and team fit assessments.
