We are seeking an experienced Program Management, Planning & Scheduling professional to join the Program Design & Planning organization. This role is critical for developing, maintaining, and analyzing the Program Master Phasing Schedule and the Integrated Master Plan/Integrated Master Schedule (IMS). You will be responsible for developing the network and integrated workflow of schedule activities to ensure an accurate, appropriate, and effective plan is established for the scope of work.
In this onsite position located in a classified area in Tucson, AZ, you will perform analysis to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the critical path, risk integration, and IMS structure. You will evaluate trends and schedule-related metrics while reviewing and implementing IMS coding, outlining structures, and ensuring adherence to directives and department scheduling best practices. Depending on the size and complexity of the effort, you will either assist the lead scheduler on larger, more complex projects or take full responsibility for smaller efforts.
Your day-to-day involves partnering with the program team to lead the integration of technical and programmatic solutions into the IMS baseline plan, ensuring cost, schedule, and technical requirements are fully integrated. You will lead the creation and maintenance of compliant IMSs, review planned work for accuracy, and identify missing or improperly planned tasks. Additionally, you will recommend and utilize alternative program management plans and artifacts to help the team manage to the plan, conduct Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA) to interpret results and integrate mitigation plans, and provide weekly and monthly planning metrics on schedule status and variance.
Candidates for this role must be U.S. citizens with an active and transferable U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance on day one. Bachelor's degree in STEM. Demonstrated ability to facilitate the effective integration and maintenance in the IMS of technical, schedule and cost in an EVMS environment. Demonstrated ability to understand the program technical and programmatic solution and lead integration and modelling of that solution into the IMS. Demonstrated ability to interpret/analyze SRA results, program schedule risk/opportunity drivers and schedule probability of success. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with Planning and functional organization SMEs to support their program teams. Understanding of hardware and software development life cycle, exposure to agile methodologies. Demonstrated ability to manage/lead/teach and support proper scheduling and EVMS techniques, principles for project personnel or teams of varying size and backgrounds. Demonstrate the ability to understand different perspectives and ask right questions ensuring IMS integrity. Ability to identify and drive process improvement, ability to work with the team to develop solutions and solve problems.

Education: Bachelor's Degree required with 8+ years experience, or Advanced Degree with 5+ years; Bachelor's degree in STEM preferred.
