Northrop Grumman is seeking a dynamic, energetic individual for the position of Supply Chain Planning Specialist Level 4 to join our growing team of diverse professionals in the IBCS International Business Area. This individual will serve as the Supply Chain Planning Specialist Lead and will support tactical and strategic Supply Chain activities.
In this role, you will develop supply chain strategy and lead activities for Global Supply Chain (GSC) in all phases of program and proposal execution. You will manage the GSC scope for multifaceted programs and proposals through close-out, coordinating interdepartmental activity and directing communication with suppliers. You will integrate efforts across all GSC functions to ensure commitments are met and that appropriate integrated mitigation or opportunity plans are developed and executed.
You will lead supply chain execution, being accountable for horizontal and vertical integration, resource planning, material cost, forecasting, schedule performance, risk/opportunity and issue management, supplier performance, and issue resolution. You will align project scope and deliverables with customer requirements while working closely with the technical community. Additionally, you will brief the GSCPM on the status and issues affecting program performance, including material status, risks, opportunities, and schedule. You will also be involved in special projects and continuous improvement activities, analyzing data to identify synergies and evaluating suppliers to address capacity or production issues.
