Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Principal/Senior Principal Project Manager to support the Sentinel program in Roy, UT. In this role, you will oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects, serving as the vital liaison between project management and planning, the project team, and line management.
You will be the ScrumMaster for Test and Systems Teams, facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming while removing impediments to ensure adherence to Agile best practices. Your day will involve drafting and presenting Integrated Program Management Reviews (iPMRs) to leadership, managing JIRA administration to provide visibility into sprint progress, and assisting with the collection and analysis of budgetary and cost-performance metrics for Supplier Management Team briefings.
Additionally, you will coordinate with suppliers and Global Supply Chain contacts to resolve logistics, delivery, and quality concerns, ensuring timely communication to stakeholders. This position operates on a standard 9/80 work schedule, allowing employees to work nine-hour days Monday through Thursday and take every other Friday off.
