Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Sr. Principal Mission Assurance Engineer to support the Sentinel program. This position is located in Clearfield, UT.
As a key member of the team, you will be part of a group that values the intersection of rigorous engineering and mission-critical assurance. You will work on systems that require the highest standards of quality and performance, ensuring that products conform to established specifications and customer requirements. The role involves leading root cause and corrective action analyses for high-impact issues and driving proactive solutions to close gaps in project requirements.
You will serve as a vital interface between electrical and systems engineers, overseeing maintenance and repair activities for critical systems like Wing Code Processing Systems and Shielded Enclosures. Your work will directly influence the success of electromagnetic interference and compatibility testing, ensuring compliance with rigorous standards such as IEEE-STD-299 and TEMPEST/1-95.
This role requires a high degree of mobility, with travel up to 50% of the time to remote site locations for testing and oversight. The position operates on a standard 9/80 work schedule, allowing employees to work a nine-hour day from Monday through Thursday and take every other Friday off.
Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates. U.S. Citizenship is required for this position due to the government clearance necessary for the role.

Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university. 4+ years of experience working and directly interfacing with DoD customers on technical and/or Mission Assurance program elements. Advanced RF testing/certification experience. COMSEC, Cryptology and Nuclear Surety training. Excellent oral and written communication, data analysis and problem solving skills.
