The Continuous Improvement Engineer – Additive Manufacturing is the catalyst for systematic waste elimination and process excellence across our AM value stream. This role exists to bridge the gap between theoretical Lean methodologies and the practical realities of the production floor. You will partner with operations, quality, and design engineering to identify root causes, reduce cycle time and scrap, and stabilize build processes.
In this position, you will lead cross-functional Kaizen activities, driving a culture of continuous improvement. Your day-to-day involves facilitating rapid improvement workshops, analyzing build failure data to implement mistake-proofing solutions, and mentoring operators on Lean fundamentals. You will own the CI project pipeline, ensuring that every initiative delivers clear ROI and sustains gains through robust standard work documentation and visual management systems.
We utilize artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications and analyzing resumes. These tools assist our recruitment team but do not replace human judgment; final hiring decisions are made by humans.
