Jabil's Data Center Infrastructure Team is dedicated to powering the future of high-performance computing. We design, fabricate, and integrate the critical electrical systems that enable scalable, reliable, and compliant infrastructure for data centers, energy storage, and AI-driven workloads. Our mission is to bridge the gap between complex power requirements and seamless manufacturing, ensuring operational excellence from the generator to the AI rack integration zone.
As a Sr. Principal Electrical Design Engineer, you will serve as a technical leader driving the full-stack electrical design lifecycle for data center power and cooling products. This role is pivotal in transitioning advanced concepts from specification to fabrication, covering everything from MV/HV power distribution and UPS systems to the intricate controls architecture of AI rack zones.
You will not only design single-line diagrams and validate three-phase power systems but also lead the integration of these systems into fabricated enclosures and structural assemblies. Your day-to-day involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to align electrical infrastructure with facility layouts, managing risk assessments, and mentoring junior engineers. You will be the bridge between engineering design and factory execution, ensuring that every component—from switchgear to wiring harnesses—meets the highest standards of safety, reliability, and manufacturability.
Candidates selected for this role will engage in a comprehensive evaluation designed to assess both technical depth and cultural fit. The process typically includes:
