This position serves as a strategic bridge between Medline's sales teams and the healthcare market, providing essential technical and sales presentation support. The primary mission is to secure new business, ensure successful customer integration, and drive the utilization of established products. You will act as a technical consultant, supporting unit sales plans through pre-sales and post-sales activities that align Medline's solutions with key customer initiatives.
In this role, you will lead complex customer engagements from initial presentations to final implementation. Working alongside Acute Care Field Sales Representatives, you will call on potential and existing customers, including small Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), to demonstrate deep product expertise. Your day-to-day involves preparing and presenting technical and financial proposals, managing product trials and validations, and conducting utilization reviews. You will be the primary point of contact for all communication before and after product reviews, ensuring full ownership of data and customer notes throughout the engagement.
The role requires significant travel (at least 75% of the time) to cover an assigned territory, both within and outside the state. You will also represent Medline at key industry conventions, such as AORN and OR Manager events, to expand the concept and development of Medline-branded items. Success in this position means driving market penetration of SPT Division products and services while fostering strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
