About the Role

This position serves as a vital link in the operational workflow, ensuring the efficient distribution of products to satisfy customer demand. The role involves coordinating production, work, and shipment schedules while analyzing and revising plans to maintain accuracy and timeliness. You will work closely with various departments to ensure customer satisfaction and the integrity of shipment records.

A key aspect of this role is inventory management; you will determine reorder points and analyze product demand trends to adjust inventory plans accordingly. The position also requires evaluating freight, preparing discrepancy reports for damaged goods, and performing random audits on shipping invoices. While working under general supervision, you may occasionally provide leadership, coaching, or mentoring to a subordinate group, acting as a first-level lead. Success in this role requires a comprehensive knowledge of the subject matter and the ability to apply established procedures to resolve problems with limited judgment.
