This position is part of the North Texas Float Pool, designed to support our ambulatory surgery centers across the region. The team floats between locations in McKinney, Frisco, MCD, MCOS, Plano, Allen, and Anna, providing flexible support to maintain high-quality surgical care across multiple facilities.
As a PreOp PACU RN Float Pool nurse, you will join a dynamic team dedicated to the patient experience. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating nursing care for patients preoperatively and postoperatively until discharge. Your role involves preparing care areas, ensuring equipment availability, conducting comprehensive physical and psychological assessments, and administering pre-operative medications and IV therapy as prescribed.
You will serve as a vital link in the surgical journey, monitoring patients, checking operative sites, and ensuring they meet all discharge criteria. This role requires adaptability and clinical expertise as you move between different centers, upholding the values of Surgery Ventures powered by HCA Healthcare.
