About the Role
This position serves as a PreOp PACU RN Float Pool nurse, designed for those passionate about elevating the patient experience. You will float between our ambulatory surgery centers, adapting to unique team cultures and patient populations while maintaining the highest standards of care.
In this role, you will be the vital link in the perioperative journey, responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating nursing care from the preoperative phase through to patient discharge. Your day-to-day involves preparing care areas, ensuring equipment readiness, conducting comprehensive physical and psychological assessments, and administering pre-operative medications and IV therapy. You will work closely with surgeons to monitor operative sites and ensure every patient meets strict discharge criteria, embodying the "care like family" ethos at every step.
