About the Role
As a PreOp PACU RN Float Pool nurse, you will join a dynamic team in our ambulatory surgery centers. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating nursing care for patients preoperatively and postoperatively until discharge. This position requires you to exhibit the core values of Surgery Ventures powered by HCA Healthcare, adapting to different centers while maintaining high standards of care.
Your day will involve preparing care areas, ensuring equipment availability, and conducting comprehensive physical and psychological assessments. You will administer pre-operative medications and IV therapy, manage catheter insertion and maintenance, and monitor patients for any abnormalities before ensuring they meet discharge criteria.
