About the Role

This position is designed for a passionate Operating Room RN ready to jump-start their career in an ambulatory surgery center. You will be an integral part of a team dedicated to the patient experience, ensuring safe and effective nursing care from the moment a patient enters your care until they are transferred to recovery.

In this role, you will serve in either the circulating or scrub capacity. Your day will involve overseeing instrument and equipment setup, utilizing preference cards, and anticipating the specific needs of surgeons. You will coordinate the room during surgical cases, facilitate efficient transitions between procedures, and manage patient care and medications, including assistance with anesthesia. A key part of your responsibility is ensuring chart completeness in accordance with documentation protocols while utilizing appropriate body mechanics to prevent injury during patient transfers.
