The L3Harris space superiority and imaging systems engineering department specializes in space-based, small and large aperture visible and infrared telescopes. Our team integrates electromechanical devices for motion and focus control, supporting programs we have recently won. We are dedicated to advancing space-based electro-optical and infrared capabilities through rigorous engineering and innovation.
We are seeking a Systems Engineer to join our team and support these critical programs. In this role, you will assist in performing technical analysis, managing specifications, and generating design reviews and technical documents. You will lead test and design verification efforts, manage requirements sell-off, and oversee the generation of end item data packages (EIDP).
You will engage in continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance engineering efficiency and effectiveness, utilizing systems engineering tools and methodologies to support model-based systems engineering (MBSE). This position requires the ability to work independently as a member of a multi-disciplined integrated product team while collaborating across all levels of leadership to support program milestone reviews.
