This is a long-term engagement, initially structured as a one-year project with strong expectations for extension beyond four years. The position is primarily remote, though the incumbent must be based in Baton Rouge, LA. The role serves as a strategic leadership position focused on the modernization of health data infrastructure and informatics.
The successful candidate will lead the team's strategic planning and implementation, managing a group of data modernization and informatics staff. The core mission involves overseeing data infrastructure to improve integration, enhance interoperability, and ensure effective data governance. This includes supporting the development of advanced reporting and visualizations while coordinating with agency experts to assess the current data environment and drive improvements for the data warehouse and integration strategy.
Candidates must be prepared for a webcam interview. Additionally, the selection process requires the submission of three professional references.
