The Senior Analyst, Security Operations position is a critical component of the Criminal Response Team within the Verizon Security Assistance Team (VSAT), reporting to Corporate Security. The primary mission of the Verizon Corporate Security Organization is to ensure the safety and security of Verizon employees, proprietary information, assets, and facilities.
VSAT operates 24x7x365, responsible for responding to all criminal subpoenas, court orders, and search warrants served on the company for customer records. This role also provides onsite support for all life-threatening situations. As a Senior Analyst, you will be accountable for meeting and exceeding operational business metrics while simultaneously safeguarding customer information and providing a 5-star customer experience.
This is a fast-paced environment where you will work both individually and as part of a team. The workload combines high-volume calls and complex cases. For life-threatening situations, you will need to quickly understand the scenario, engage with callers to determine the best tools or information to locate a device, and decide when to utilize additional means to assist in locating the subject. Multi-tasking is indispensable in this role. You will be required to work a minimum of three to four holidays to ensure continuous coverage, with shifts likely including overnight and weekend hours. Shifts are static until changed to meet business needs, and provisions are made during inclement weather for employees who must remain onsite.
If Verizon and this role sound like a fit, we encourage you to apply even if you don't meet every "even better" qualification listed. The application process involves submitting your resume and qualifications for review. Selected candidates will proceed through the standard interview stages to assess technical fit, decision-making capabilities, and alignment with the V Team culture.
Verizon is an equal opportunity employer. We evaluate qualified applicants without regard to veteran status, disability, or other legally protected characteristics. We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce where everyone can thrive.
