About the Role
As a Tech Support Associate, you will provide critical support to consulting and technical teams throughout the telecom network implementation and maintenance lifecycle. You will serve as the primary technical point of contact for implementation and re-engage teams, interfacing with engineering, service delivery, and partners to ensure high-quality, on-time customer service.
In this role, you will conduct root-cause analysis, assist with network maintenance, and drive efficiency through the knowledge management process. Your day-to-day involves providing centralized Level 1 operational support for FTTH service delivery, assisting field technicians via multiple contact channels, and supporting service restoration and provisioning activities. You will also manage customer relationships from operational to executive levels, coordinate requirements, and maintain accurate network mapping and inventory across copper and fiber service areas.
The position requires working an 8-hour shift per day within business hours (6:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. CST, Monday through Sunday), totaling 40 hours per week across 5 working days. Weekly offs will be split between Monday and Sunday and will not be consecutive.
Hiring Process
Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Richardson, TX, or be willing to relocate. The role may involve occasional travel as required.
