About the Role

The Senior Analyst, Security Operations position is a critical component of the Criminal Response Team within the Verizon Security Assistance Team (VSAT), reporting into Corporate Security. VSAT operates 24x7x365, serving as the frontline response for all criminal subpoenas, court orders, and search warrants served on the company for customer records. The team also provides on-site support for life-threatening situations.

In this fast-paced environment, you will work individually and as part of a team to meet and exceed operational business metrics while safeguarding customer information and delivering a 5-star customer experience. The role demands the ability to multi-task under high pressure, often navigating life-and-death scenarios. You will engage with callers to determine the best tools to locate devices or decide when to utilize additional means to assist in locating individuals. The workload is a dynamic combination of calls and cases, requiring you to understand complex situations and make sound decisions independently.

Shifts are static but may include overnight, weekend, and holiday hours to ensure continuous coverage. You will be required to work a minimum of three to four holidays annually. Provisions are provided during inclement weather in the event employees must remain onsite to maintain operations. Success in this role requires obtaining and maintaining a security clearance, adhering to all ongoing requirements to maintain cleared status.
