At Apple, new ideas have a way of becoming great products, services, and customer experiences very quickly. The Finance group finds value for both Apple and its shareholders, playing an integral role in ensuring our day-to-day financial health. We apply the same level of innovation toward financial matters as we do toward our products and services, collaborating with teams across the world to develop effective investment strategies and risk management.
Our Places Finance team is a lively, interactive group with a direct impact on the business. We work closely with teams around the world, including Global Energy and Sustainability, Corporate Procurement, Legal, Tax, Treasury, Corporate FP&A, Technical Accounting, and Global Business Solutions. We provide finance solutions that are innovative and support both our internal and external customers.
The Senior Renewable Energy Analyst will support the Global Energy & Sustainability team's ongoing renewable energy transactions and investments. As a global leader in corporate renewable energy, Apple has achieved its 100% renewable electricity goal for serving its corporate, retail, and data center facilities. We have made a commitment to be completely carbon neutral across our entire product lifecycle by 2030. While we have made significant progress, there is more work to do, and this role is essential to continuing Apple's legacy of efficiency and success.
In this position, you will navigate complex challenges using your financial knowledge and analytical passion. Whether managing tax equity investments in the US or VPPAs and partnerships in Europe and Asia, you will ensure deals meet our long-term performance expectations. You will serve as the team's key subject matter authority and primary interface with other core finance teams, maintaining visibility to the project pipeline and its impact on the P&L. You will also present portfolio results to internal partners and support the annual planning process by articulating Apple's ongoing renewable energy strategy.
We are looking for a highly motivated and proactive professional who can think strategically and stay connected to our internal customers. The ideal candidate will possess a high level of integrity, creativity, initiative, accountability, and strong communication skills. If you are passionate about using your financial knowledge to navigate complex challenges and collaborate with a broad range of Apple departments, we invite you to join us.
