About the Role
This position is designed for a leader who wants to help drive the strategy and vision for the Finance & Accounting departments at our $2B Global Distribution Organization. You will serve as the technical accounting expert and trusted advisor to senior management, maintaining current knowledge of GAAP, relevant regulations, and industry trends.
In this role, you will lead the finance and accounting areas by setting a clear vision and strategy, ensuring strong internal controls, and meeting all reporting requirements. You will oversee the development of annual business plans and budgets, manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, and prepare high-quality consolidated financial analyses used by executive leadership for business insights.
Beyond the numbers, you will effectively lead department managers, driving associate engagement and providing timely feedback and coaching. You will develop and administer new procedures to ensure efficiency, timeliness, and accuracy, while translating complex financial concepts to individuals at all levels, from finance managers to non-finance partners.
