About the Role

The Junior Staff Accountant serves as a vital member of our medium-sized manufacturing organization, incorporating accounting knowledge, analysis, and problem-solving principles to support our daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reporting timelines. Working alongside the Staff Accountant and Accounting Manager, you will execute essential financial functions that keep our operations running smoothly.

In this role, you will manage a wide range of general accounting duties, including month-end close tasks, account reconciliations, and journal entries. You will assist with financial, federal, and state audits, support the Treasury department with bank transactions, and aid Accounts Payable and Receivable functions. Additionally, you will process employee expense reports, track capital expenditures, and support tax filings and government reports. You will also participate in budget planning, identify process improvement opportunities, and prepare ad hoc reports to interpret financial data and trends.
