About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Database Administrator to design, manage, and optimize SQL Server databases with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Azure cloud solutions. This role is critical to ensuring the performance, scalability, security, and governance of database systems that drive our business operations. You will lead Azure-based database initiatives, enforce data security and governance policies, and safeguard sensitive data while ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
In this position, you will not only troubleshoot complex database issues but also mentor junior DBAs and IT staff on Microsoft database technologies and Azure best practices. Your work will directly align technical solutions with broader business objectives, ensuring data accessibility, accuracy, and accountability across hybrid cloud environments.

Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

- verifiedProficiency in T-SQL and SQL Server administration

Microsoft Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Data Management and Analytics, and/or Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals. Knowledge of additional Azure data tools (e.g., Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Purview) and their secure, governed implementation. Familiarity with hybrid cloud database architectures and secure, governed data synchronization between on-premises SQL Server and Azure.
